Nothing puts a damper on a well-planned and highly anticipated summer vacation like falling ill while away from home. All too often, however, exposing ourselves to new or different cultures also means exposing ourselves to a host of health concerns that our bodies may not be prepared to deal with.

Whether you're planning a trip to London this summer for the Olympics -- or anywhere else in the world -- be sure to read this article before you go to ensure safe, happy, and healthy travels.

Know someone who's roaming away from home in the next few weeks? Do them a favor and pass along a link to this blog. They'll thank you for it.
